So we got our first snow of the season yesterday. It snowed ALLLLL day. Neil and I took the kids out in it around 4:30 before the real bulk of it came down in Edmond. The news this morning said that our area got 9-12 inches. I think we're probably about in the middle. There are drifts that are around 2 feet or more in some areas. ITS AWESOME!! We don't get snow like that in Oklahoma much so when we do it's a big deal.
When we took the kids out it was still coming down and blowing alot so the little guys didn't last very long at all. They liked it though. Chase LOVED sledding down the hill to the park across the street. We used a storage box lid we had that is curved and smooth to "sled" because sleds aren't common around here. Haha!! Anyway Chase LOVED it. He would lay in it and his face was just sheer delight sliding down the hill. It was so cute.
Aiden loooved the snow. Neil took the little guys in, and I played with him for a while, then traded off with Neil. Aiden was out there about an hour and a half in the snow. He really got a kick out of eating it. At one point he just leaned over and took a big bite out of the hill. It was funny looking. I got a picture of it.
